Track Action @ Pannala - Part 6

As you all know the feature on the "Ford Formula 1600" event was promised so here goes... 

Above is Ashan Silva in the famous "Causeway/Yokohama" sponsored Ford Formula at the start line moments before the "Ford Formula 1600" race started..

Red

Orange

Green!!   &.............

........ Off they go!! 

If you look closer... you are sure to see tire smoke... yes thats Yokohama Advan semi-slick compound smoke right there!!

Doesn't the above pic remind you all of a F16 Fighter jet taking off from a Navy carrier?

Dinesh Jayawardana in his Monster Energy Ford Formula, on one of the spectacular corners on the track.

Following right behind is Ashan Silva on the very same corner on the track...

Well wondering whats so "Spectacular" about this very corner?? just look closer at the track.....

........ and notice the elevation changes... the perfect ingredients for a more adrenaline rushed/challenging drive.

Dinesh Jayawardana went on to take the victory flag on this event......

..... as Ashan Silva faced mechanical problems and ended up pulling over due to his battery wires coming off from the battery.
