I see you all enjoyed parts 2 & 3 of Track Action @ Pannala.. So here comes the 4th part.
From this post on i will be focusing on the Formula event. Starting off with the "Formula McLaren 1300" which will divided into 2 parts, after which i will be focusing on the "Ford Formula 1600" so hope you can bare with me :) Just look at the pic above, Formula McLaren 1300 entering the track through the pits while the toyota corolla safety car waits to escort the whole pack... Notice the size differences between the Formula and the corolla safety car? Sooo cool to be driving one of those little things. As promised... Heres the Nissan March event.
The above picture was taken seconds after the green light flashed. Notice all the tire smoke coming from them, as they all step on the pedal and hurry to the first corner. Continuing from where we left off last, i decided this picture was fitting to start off part 2 of "Mini Coopers @ Motorshow 2010" as it will be able to give you an idea of how wheel, tire & wheel arch fitment on a mini does play a major part in bringing out the cars appearance to something to be proud of.
The car above is the 2nd example of how the owner decided to make it look as original as possible just as it would have rolled out of the showroom floor back in its day, while maintaining its classical value and at the same time giving it that modern feeling. I thought this will be a good picture to start off this post with... As many of you all who read this blog may or may not know about where this little car comes from. Well for those of you who do not, the little flag logo on the above picture will give you an idea. Yes its British.
You just got to appreciate the attention thats being put into this car.
More on this tomorrow. Cheers. Old meets New - 2 old boys meet 2 new boys,
although from two separate countries.... they manage to live in unity in this little island of Sri Lanka. |
